Nationwide Recall Issued For Peaches, Plums, Nectarines Sold At Stores Due To Listeria Risk
A nationwide recall has been issued for a brand of peaches, plums, and nectarines because of a possible health risk.
The HMC Group Marketing, Inc., which does business as HMC Farms, issued the recall for the products sold in retail stores between Wednesday, May 1, and Wednesday, November 15, 2023, and the same date range in 2022, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website.

A nationwide public health alert has been issued for a raw beef product due to concerns it may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically soft, clear plastic, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
A recall was not requested because the product is no longer available for purchase.

Two US Companies Recall Onions Due To Possible Health Risk
Two companies have announced recalls of their onion products due to possible salmonella contamination.
HelloFresh and Potandon Produce LLC both announced the recalls on Saturday, Oct. 23, after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a statement on Wednesday, Oct. 20, that a salmonella outbreak that has caused illnesses in 37 states was linked to onions.

Public Health Alert Issued For Frozen Chicken Product Due To Possible Listeria Contamination
A public health alert has been issued for more than 130,000 pounds of frozen, fully-cooked, diced chicken products due to possible listeria contamination.
FSIS said that a total of 130,860 pounds of poultry products that were packaged and shipped out earlier this year are now subject to the public health alert following an inspection that determined they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The frozen, fully cooked, diced chicken items were packed on Monday, Jan. 25, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, Tuesday, March 23, and Wednesday, March 24.
