Broken Arm, Fall Injuries Trigger Massive Recall Of Popular Stools A popular children's tower stool is being recalled after eight children were injured in falls, including one who broke their arm, officials said. Cosyland Official issued the recall for about 125,200 Cosyland Children's Tower Stools, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, May 14. They were sold on Amazon from April 2021 through November 2025 for about $70. The stools can collapse or tip over while being used, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. ID Released For Man Found Dead On Beach In Westport Police have identified a man whose body was found a beach in Westport. Gregory Garoffolo, 60, of Westport, was identified as the person found around 840 a.m., Thursday, May 9, by a Westport resident in the area of 132 Beachside Ave., who reported the incident to Westport police, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana. ID Released For Fairfield County Man Found Dead On Saugatuck Shores Police have identified a man found dead on the shore of Harbor Road in Saugatuck Shores as a local resident. Gregory Garoffolo, 60, of Westport was found at 8:40 a.m. Friday, when a man jogging contacted police after finding the body along the shoreline in the mud on Harbor Road, said Westport Lt. Jillian Cabana.
