Here's How Many Are Still Without Power Two Days After Rain, Wind Storm
More than 1,000 Connecticut residents are still without power two days after a series of storms ripped through the region, flooding the area, downing trees and power lines.
As of just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, about 48 hours after the storms began, Eversource was still working to repair outages that continue to impact 1,035 of its 1,279,556 customers. United Illuminating was also still working on one outage in Woodbridge that was affecting three customers.

Most CT Customers Now Have Power Restored, Eversource Says
Utility crews from Eversource have restored power to nearly 100,000 customers in Connecticut who were impacted by the potent storm with damaging winds.
As of 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, just 6,644 of 1,279,556 of the company's customers were still without power, Eversource said.
“As of midday, line and tree crews have restored power to more than 93,000 customers since the storm began and continue working to bring the remaining 7,500 customers back online,” the company stated. “Town-by-town restoration estimates are now available at Eversource.com."

Many Fairfield County residents are still without power a day after thunderstorms rocked the region, taking down trees and power lines.
As of 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, Eversource was still working to restore power to 9,090 of its 1,279,556 Connecticut customers, while United Illuminating was reporting just six outages, with just one in Fairfield County.

Eversource utility crews are working to restore power to the tens of thousands of Connecticut residents who lost power during Monday’s storm.
Starting on Monday morning, April 13, thunderstorms packed with dangerous winds rolled through the region, felling trees and downing power lines throughout the state.
As of 5:30 p.m. on Monday, 46,338 of Eversource’s 1,279,556 customers (3.62 percent) in Connecticut were without power.

Thousands are without power in Fairfield County as storms rolled through the region, bringing whipping winds of more than 70 mph that toppled tree limbs and downed power lines.
As of just before 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 29,787 of Eversource’s 1,279,556 customers were without power, while the United Illuminating Company was reporting 27 outages impacting 783 of its 337,094 Connecticut customers.
