Man Shot Multiple Times On Street In Fairfield County, Police Say A man was shot multiple times while on a city street in what police in Fairfield County say is an "isolated incident."  Police responded around 3 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15, after receiving a report of a person shot on the 500 block of East Main Street in Bridgeport, authorities said. The victim, a 34-year-old Bridgeport man, was taken to an area hospital and treated for multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and buttocks, said Bridgeport PD Captain Kevin Gilleran.  He is reported to be in stable condition.
