According to the New Canaan Police Department, on Saturday, July 3, at about 7:15 a.m., officers responded to Hawks Hill Road to two reports of items missing from vehicles left unlocked. A key fob was reported missing from one of the vehicles and a wallet from the other. Man Charged With Interfering With Officers Conducting Investigation In New Canaan A 67-year-old man has been charged after interfering with officers conducting an investigation during an incident in New Canaan, police said. It happened on Thursday, Aug. 29 just before 8 p.m. when police were dispatched to Deep Valley Road for a report of youths riding ATVs on the street. Officers who arrived at the scene talked to Robert Avery about the youths riding the ATVs and enduro-style motorcycles on the street and private lane near his residence, according to New Canaan Police.
