Man Caught Hiding Items Shoplifted From CVS In His Jacket, Greenwich Police Say A 76-year-old man was found hiding more than $50 worth of items in his jacket after leaving a local CVS store. Antonio Gagliardi, 76, of Greenwich, was arrested on Tuesday after Greenwich Police were called to the CVS store on West Putnam Avenue for a report of shoplifting, Greenwich Police said. An investigation found that Gagliardi secreted more than $50 worth of merchandise from the store inside his jacket and left without paying, police said. He was later located and charged with larceny and released on a promise to appear notice. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 6.

Man With Active Warrant Taken Into Custody In Norwalk During Darien Traffic Stop A man wanted on a bench warrant for failure to appear was nabbed during a traffic stop. Steven E. Vasquez, 24, of Norwalk, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 11, by Darien Police after the vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped for a traffic violation, Det. James Palmieri said. Vasquez was wanted on a warrant for an arrest in Norwalk for which he failed to appear in court, he said. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released with a new court date of Dec. 21.

Woman With Active Warrant Taken Into Custody In Wilton A 25-year-old woman was arrested by Wilton Police on an active warrant while being interviewed in connection with another case.  Rachel Ragone, of Kings Park, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 6, after police learned she was wanted an active warrant for failure to appear for automobile charges in 2016 in Fairfield, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk. She was processed and released on $1,000 bond. Ragone is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 16.
