Heavy Rain, Strong Winds, Downed Trees Snarl Morning Commute Periods of heavy rain, combined with strong winds, resulted in delays throughout Fairfield County during the Monday morning commute with downed trees also being reported. Downed trees closed two roads in Greenwich: Davis Avenue at Wilbur Peck Court and Glenville Road closed between Midwood Road and Valley Drive. A jackknifed tractor-trailer crashed blocking I-91 lanes in both directions between Exits 38 and 40 in Windsor. (See second image above.)
