Norwalk Man Dressed In Camo With Gun Apprehended, Police Say
A Fairfield County man dressed in full camouflage carrying what appeared to be an AK-47 was nabbed lying prone on a city bike path. The incident took place in Norwalk around 9:15 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 14 at the intersection of Maple Street and Van Buren Avenue. Officers responded to the area after receiving several calls and found Brandon Wagshol, age 26, of Norwalk, lying prone on the bike path to the rear of Lynes Place, said Sgt. Norwalk Man Arrested For Having Weapons Cache Now Accused Of Hitting Victim In Head With Pipe
A 22-year-old man who authorities say had a weapons cache and showed interest in “committing a mass shooting” over the summer has now been arrested after hitting a victim in the head with a pipe, police said. The latest incident happened around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 when Norwalk Police were called to a Bedford Avenue residence because Brandon Wagshol had allegedly pushed an individual inside the residence. A 22-year-old Fairfield County man who authorities say had shown interest in “committing a mass shooting” in a post on social media was charged with possessing large capacity magazines. Norwalk Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent-In-Charge Brian C.
