Greenwich Police Asking For Help Locating Dog That Bit Child
Police are asking the public for identifying a woman and her dog that bit a Greenwich child who is now facing a series of preventative rabies shots. The incident took on Sunday, Jan. 12 at Binney Park when the dog bit the child, causing minor injuries, said Greenwich Police. The dog is described as being a medium-sized golden retriever with “reddish” fur. Its handler was described as being a white, possible Asian woman in her late 20s, the department said. Bones Found In Greenwich Park Identified As Local Man
Bones found in a Greenwich park in 2017 have been identified as belonging to an area man through DNA testing. On April 26, 2017, Town of Greenwich Parks workers discovered a human bone in a stream at the Helen Binney Kitchel Natural Park, adjacent to Laddins Rock Road, in Old Greenwich, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. There is no shortage of Independence Day celebrations featuring fireworks in Fairfield County. At least 15 major fireworks displays are planned over the course of seven days, starting this weekend.
