Teenage Bethel Woman Killed, 4 Hospitalized In Overnight Crash
A teenager was killed and four others hospitalized in an overnight single-vehicle crash in Connecticut.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in Tolland County in the town of Willington.
A 2007 Subaru Legacy with five occupants, all from the town of Bethel in Fairfield County, was traveling southbound on River Road when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn, according to Connecticut State Police.
One of the passengers, 19-year-old Maria Damata sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead, said police.

ID Released For Bethel Man Struck, Killed In Hit-Run Crash
Police in Connecticut have identified a Fairfield County man who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash.
John W. Capodanno, age 64, of Bethel, was killed around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Litchfield County in the area of 177 Danbury Road in New Milford.
According to New Milford Police, Capodanno was crossing the street when he was struck and killed by a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Maria Bosch, age 41, of New Milford.
Bosch, who was not injured, fled the scene but her vehicle was found at a nearby apartment complex, police said.

An unnamed New Haven County resident, from Naugatuck, claimed a $1,000,000 prize from a "Win up to $5,000 a month for life second edition" ticket purchased at Stop One Mart LLC, the lottery reported on Monday, Aug. 8.
CT Lottery said the store is at the Mobil gas station, located at 282 South Main St. in Naugatuck.
