Police Search For Suspects Who Burned American Flags, Damaged Mailboxes In Ridgefield Police investigators are attempting to track down the suspects who went on a criminal mischief spree that included the burning of American flags. On Monday, July 8, police investigators in Ridgefield received reports of smashed car windows, damaged mailboxes and burned American flags throughout the town. Damaged cars, mailboxes, and flags were found on Barrack Hill Road, Golf Lane, Armand Place, Walnut Hill Road, and Pin Pack Road.  Police said that witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as being a gray Jeep Wrangler. Two Suspects At Large After Car Windows Smashed In Ridgefield Two suspects are on the loose after allegedly breaking windows on cars in the Barrack Hill Road section of Ridgefield. The Ridgefield Police Department is investigating multiple incidents of vehicles having their windows broken in that section of town early Monday, July 8, they said. A witness reportedly described the individuals as two young white males, (one with dark hair and the other with curly blond hair) who fled in a Jeep Wrangler with two other occupants, police said.
