CT Among Deadliest States For Intersection Crashes, New Data Says Connecticut ranks among the deadliest states for intersection crashes, new data has shown. Despite the significant safety improvements being made in regards to automotive technology, the death toll for intersection accidents is on the rise. Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows that there has been a shocking 27 percent increase in intersection fatalities since 2010.
