Pop superstar Justin Timberlake took time out of his European tour to face a New York judge in his alleged drunk driving case on Long Island. The former NSYNC frontman pleaded not guilty to one count of driving while intoxicated during a virtual appearance before Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Friday morning, Aug. 2. A Fairfield County man was charged with alleged assault after he reportedly knocked over a country club employee and then laughed. Walter Francis, age 58, of Westport, was arrested on Tuesday, July 23, for the Monday, June 3 incident at the Birchwood County Club in Westport. According to Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police, an investigation into the assault began after the employee contacted police and said while working, they were pushed to the ground while crouched down stacking menus. A woman and teen have been charged after a 24-year-old Connecticut man was shot and killed allegedly by a 17-year-old during a party. Three women are facing charges after allegedly assaulting bouncers at a Connecticut restaurant in separate incidents. The alleged attacks happened in New Haven County, at Stonebridge Restaurant on Daniel Street.
