Police Officer Charged In Use Of Force Incident Near Yale University A police officer has been arrested for his role in a shooting that happened in New Haven in April, police said. Hamden Police Officer Devin Eaton, 29, was charged with first-degree assault and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, State Police said. It is alleged that Eaton and Yale University officer Terrance Pollock opened fire on a vehicle being driven by Paul Witherspoon on April 26, police said. CT State Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting Of Two Connecticut State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting of two people by police officers from the Hamden and Yale police departments.
