Two Dead After Fire Breaks Out At Multi-Family CT Home
Two Connecticut men were killed during an intense fire at a multi-family home. The fire took place in New Haven County in Waterbury around 3 a.m., Tuesday, May 3 on Arch Street. According to Waterbury Deputy Fire Chief Kenneth Tamborra, when the first firefighters arrived on the scene the fire was so intense that windows were blowing out of the second floor. The first victim was found quickly as firefighters advanced to the second floor where the fire was the heaviest, Tamborra said. CT Man Dies From Multiple Gunshot Wounds, Dog Shot In Face
Police in Connecticut are attempting to figure out if shootings that left a man dead and a dog injured are related. The first incident took place around 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23, in New Haven County when the Waterbury Police Department was dispatched to a shots fired call in the area of Arch Street. Prior to the officer’s arrival, they were notified by dispatch that a dog inside the residence was shot, said Sgt. Robert Davis of the Waterbury Police.
