Greenwich resident Andrew Schmidt, 19, has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty earlier this year to the April 2016 hit-and-run that took the life of Edward Setterberg on East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. Schmidt was driving with his friends on East Putnam Avenue on the day of the fatal crash, when he struck Setterberg, 43, and sped away. Fatal Hit-Run Sentencing For Greenwich Teen Delayed Sentencing for a teenager who admitted to his role in a fatal hit-and-run has been postponed. Andrew Schmidt, 19, was scheduled to appear in Greenwich Superior Court on Wednesday morning after pleading guilty to the April 2016 hit-and-run.
