Teen Shot Near CT High School A 16-year-old student was shot near a Connecticut high school, causing the school to go on lockdown. The incident took place in Hartford County around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, near New Britain High School. According to New Britain Police Chief Christopher Chute, the teen was shot by suspects in an early 2000s light blue or light gray Nissan Altima. During a news conference on Tuesday, the chief said the department is searching for the car. After the shooting, the chief said the teen was able to talk and move around.
