New Fairfield, Brookfield Head To Semifinal Games In Football Playoffs

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Football Playoffs continue Monday with the semifinal match-ups — and several Fairfield County teams will be hitting the field.

The New Fairfield Rebels are among the teams advancing to the semifinals in the CIAC Football Playoffs.

Here's a rundown of Monday's games in the different divisions of the state championships:

Class LL:

Shelton vs Newtown, 6:30 p.m. at Shelton
Darien vs Southington, 6:30 p.m. at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk

Class L:

North Haven vs Wethersfield, 6:30 p.m. at North Haven
Notre Dame vs New Canaan, 6:30 p.m. at New Canaan

Class M:

Killingly vs Brookfield, 6:30 p.m. at Killingly
New Fairfield vs Ledyard, 6:30 p.m. at New Fairfield

Class S:

Ansonia vs Trinity Catholic, 6:30 p.m. at Jarvis Stadium in Ansonia
Bloomfield vs Seymour, 6:30 p.m. at Bloomfield
