Police Searching For Suspect In Brookfield Bank Robbery

BROOKFIELD, Conn. — Officers with police dogs were searching Friday morning for a suspect who fled after robbing a bank on Federal Road, according to the News-Times. 

The Newtown Savings Bank on Federal Road just off Route 7 in Brookfield was robbed Friday morning.

The bank robber, who did not display a weapon, hit the  Newtown Savings Bank at 99 Federal Road off Route 7 just before 9 a.m. Friday, the News-Times said.

Police were investigating at the scene, the News-Times said.
