New Milford Woman Dies In Crash On Route 7 Near Sherman Border

NEW MILFORD, Conn. -- A car hit a tree Monday morning killing the driver, a woman from New Milford, on Route 7, said The News-Times.

There was a fatal accident at Route 7 and Squash Hollow Road in New Milford, near the Sherman and Brookfield border.

The driver, Stephanie Tozzi, went off the road near Squash Hollow Road, near the Sherman border, reported the News-Times.

Her daughter, 4, was injured and taken to Danbury Hospital, said The News-Times.

A second accident took place later in the day nearby when an ambulance hit an embankment on Park Lane Road, injuring two people, according to The News-Times.
