New Fairfield Man Found Unconscious In Car Faces Drug Charges In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- About eight months after Brookfield police found him unconscious in his car with heroin and prescription drugs, a New Fairfield man is facing drug distribution charges, according to the News Times.

Michael Martin, 29, was charged with illegal distribution of both narcotics and a controlled substance. Brookfield police found him May 16, 2015 with a burning cigarette in his mouth, the News Times reports. He was taken to Danbury Hospital and a warrant was applied for his arrest, according to the News Times.

He's being held on $15,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Danbury's superior court Tuesday, says the News Times.
