Man Texts Woman With Protection Order 36 Times In One Day, Police Say

A man who allegedly sent 36 texts in one day to a woman who had a protective order against him has been arrested.

Trenton Daniels, 41, of Orange in New Haven County, was arrested on Thursday, June 4, by Milford Police after receiving the complaint from the woman, police said.

According to police, Milford Police took custody of Daniels in regards to an active warrant for his arrest.

He was charged with harassment and violation of a protective order.

Daniels is accused of contacting the woman through text messages 36 times and calling her on the phone eight times in one day, police said.

The woman has an active protective order against Daniels.

He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
