Brookfield Student Charged For 'Alarming' Message Left At School

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- A note found near the library at Brookfield High School described as "disturbing and alarming" led to the arrest of a student on Dec. 14, according to The News-Times.

The 17-year-old student was charged by town police with breach of peace, according to the article.

The note was “not a credible threat to the school," police told The News-Times.

The student was referred by police to Danbury Superior Court, Juvenile Matters and released to the student’s parents, the report says.
