BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Police Department welcomed its newest member to its ranks Monday.

Officer Kelsey Sullivan was sworn in after joining the department from the Waterbury Police Department, where she served as an officer for just under three years. She will spend the next few weeks getting acquainted with the town before setting out on her own.
