BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Police Department is accepting applications for police officers through June 5.

Successful candidates are required to pass written, oral, physical, and psychological testing. Candidates must also pass a medical physical, a drug screen, polygraph and background check.

Salary is $52,700 to start with a maximum pay of $80,565 after five years.
