Lorraine Fuhrmann, 82, Longtime New Fairfield Resident

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — New Fairfield resident Lorraine Fuhrmann died Tuesday, May 3. She was 82.

A New York native, Fuhrmann was a resident of New Fairfield the past 50 years and worked at Union Trust Bank.

She also was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church of New Fairfield.

Fuhrmann is survived by her cousins and their families, Helen Nabozna, John Nabozna and his wife, Anetra, Claudia Kozlowski and her husband, Robert, Eileen Jedlicka and her husband, John, and Ronald Laman and his wife, Barbara. 

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Katherine (Glaz) Fuhrmann; and a sister, Florence Fuhrmann. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield. 

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Queens, N.Y. 

Calling hours will be private. 

Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home in Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
