NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Lawrence Petruso, of New Fairfield, died Saturday, April 9 at the Regional Hospice facility of Danbury. He was 74.
He was born in the Bronx to the late Dominic and Angela Petruso. He was a husband, father and grandfather who resided in New Fairfield for most of his life. He worked as a police officer for the town of Greenwich for a number of years before retiring at the end of his career. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Petruso; his daughter, Danielle Petruso; his son, Christopher Petruso and his wife, Roseann Petruso; and grandson, Austin Petruso.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
