Squantz Pond State Park Fills Up Sunday Morning; No New Cars Allowed

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield is full to parking capacity and was closed to new vehicles as of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 17, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

The parking capacity at Squantz Pond is capped at 250 cars by the state. 

Also in New Fairfield, town officials report that South Beach at the Town Park is closed Sunday but North Beach is open.
