Squantz Pond State Park Filled To Capacity On Sunday

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield is full to parking capacity and is closed to new vehicles as of noon on Sunday, June 26, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced via Twitter.

For residents of New Fairfield, the Town Park on Candlewood Lake has reopened as of Sunday after an algae incident.
