Sherman Approves $14.5 Million Total Budget For Town, School

SHERMAN, Conn. — Sherman's voters went to the polls Saturday and approved budgets for both the town and the school for the next fiscal year.

According to the town's Twitter and website, the vote totals are as follows:

  • Town of Sherman budget of $5,144,402: Approved by a vote of 241 to 115
  • Board of Education Budget of $9,381,718: Approved by a vote of 237 to 120.

The new fiscal year begins July 1.
