A Danbury Superior Court judge set the new hearing date when Art Colley made his court appearance Wednesday, said The News-Times.

The case began when a school audit found questionable spending of about $124,000, including payments to Colley’s personal credit card bill, Colley’s daughter’s landlord and orthodontia work for his secretary.

Colley was charged in March 2015 with receiving reimbursements for iPads that were never purchased and arrested again in September on charges of taking more than $53,000 from school funds.

He faces three counts of first-degree larceny, and one count each of second-degree larceny, second- and third-degree forgery, defrauding a public community and conspiracy to commit larceny.
