New York Child Rescued From Squantz Pond

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A 10-year-old boy from New York was rescued by lifeguards Sunday, July 10 at Squantz Pond State Park, according to The News-Times.

Patrolling lifeguards saw the boy go under the surface and were able to pull him from the water, The News-Times said.

The boy was found conscious and alert and was evaluated by EMS, The News-Times reported.
