New Fairfield Lions Club 'Freedom Run' 5K Race Gets Off On The Right Foot

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The New Fairfield Lions Club recently had its first Freedom Run 5K.

The proceeds from the race will be used for New Fairfield veterans.

The New Fairfield Lions Club is a service organization that hosts several service projects, including the Fourth of July parade, Easter Egg hunt, Breakfast with Santa, senior citizen end of summer picnic and holiday luncheon and collecting eyeglasses to be redistributed to the needy.
