Brookfield Lights Up Town Hall For The Christmas Season

BROOKFIELD, Conn. – Each year, Brookfield ushers in the holiday season with its annual tree lighting at Town Hall on 100 Pocono Road across from the Post Office.

The tree lighting this past weekend was hosted by the Girl Scouts. The event featured caroling, cookies, refreshments, elves and pictures with Santa himself.

The tree lighting brings the community together to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. Many families made it out for the event and sang carols together as the tree was lit.

Before the event, the Girl Scouts decorated Town Hall, stringing the lights up on the tree in preparation for the celebration.

Huge lit-up reindeer can also be found on the lawn of the Town Hall to greet residents.
