Squantz Pond Fills Up Fast On A Hot Sunday

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The parking lot at Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield was full and closed to new vehicles as of 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 24, the state said.

Squantz Pond was closed at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Crowds are flocking to the beach as high temperatures soar into the 90s this weekend.
