Folks from teens on up are getting in on the craze, and up off their couches, to search for these virtual creatures in the real-world environment.

First Selectman Susan Chapman and Selectman Kim Hanson offer a caution, though. "Please watch out for kids playing the game and walking around town with their smartphones," they noted in a Tuesday Facebook post.

They also noted that the Town Hall is a "Poké Stop" -- areas where Pokémon are more common.

Developers chose libraries, churches and other public places as Poké Stops, as the Daily Voice reported Tuesday. Players have been sighted both inside and outside the Ferguson Library.

And in Danbury, folks are finding Pokémon in the mall, as covered in this Daily Voice article.
