Winn and Brown will serve three-year terms beginning with the 2016-17 academic and athletic year.
"Mike and Drew are two of our most talented staff members and will bring incredible expertise that will benefit the programs in our region," said Pace University Director of Athletics Mark Brown. "The depth and breadth of their knowledge and experience will be an asset to their respective committees."
Winn is in his 17th season with the women's soccer program at Pace. He founded the program in 1998 and coached the Setters to six straight seasons of .500 or better from 2001-06. Winn has also coached 12 All-Region selections, three Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeepers of the Year, 21 All-Conference players, three Academic All-District players, and two Academic All-Americans. Winn earned 2011 Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year after earning a spot in the NE-10 Championship Tournament.
Brown has over 20 years of experience in college athletics including playing baseball at Saint Peter's University in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). He also served as an assistant coach for nearly 10 years combined at Saint Peter's University, Fairfield University (MAAC), and Mercy College (ECC). Brown currently serves as the sport administrator for five programs at Pace including baseball, and has previously served on other regional committees.
Coaches and administrators of the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10), Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), and East Coast Conference (ECC) comprise the NCAA Division II East Region's Committee. As members of the committee, they will assist the national committee in the evaluation of teams throughout the season, the evaluation of potential regional sites and the recommendation for the championship.
