“Brookstock VI” is set for 3-8 p.m. Saturday at the Brookfield Municipal Center, 100 Pocono Road.

Bands scheduled to play at the annual event are: Bourbon Phrophacy, Whitewood, 78 All Stars and Hell in the Hallway.

Fire companies from Brookfield and Candlewood will have trucks and other apparatus on site for folks to view.

The annual event was launched several years ago by Brookfield High School’s Class of ’78, which wanted to repay firefighters, and other volunteers, for what they do for the community.

Firefighters will help alumni “pass the boot” for goodwill donations and help fest organizers sell T-shirts and 50/50 raffle tickets.

There will be activities for kids, such as face painting, and a food truck will be available.

There is a bathroom on site, say organizers.

Concertgoers are advised to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

The rain date is Saturday, July 23.
