Temperatures were down to about freezing on Sunday afternoon with a 50 percent chance of snow flurries, the weather service center.
The weather will feel more like winter over the next few days, too, with snow showers in the forecast from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. The snow will come and go throughout the rest of Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Temperatures on Sunday night will fall into the 20, with daytime highs on Monday and Tuesday below 32 degrees and overnight lows in the teens.
It will also become windy late Sunday, with gusty northwest winds making for wind chills in the single digits to teens on Monday and Tuesday.
