Sunny Skies And Cool Temps Expected This Weekend In Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Residents of Fairfield County can expect mostly clear skies and slightly below normal temperatures Friday and throughout the weekend.

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 77 during the day, a few degrees below normal for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service. Any clouds that develop during the day will dissipate overnight. Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 55, though lows in the 40s are not out of the question in some areas.

Plenty of sunshine is expected on Saturday, though the high will only rise to the upper 70s, as cooler air continues to filter into the region. Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low around 54.

The cool temperatures will stick around on Sunday, which is again expected to be sunny with a high near 75. Sunday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 54.

This pattern is expected to continue into next week, with Monday and Tuesday predicted to be mostly sunny, with highs near 74.
