Hermine brings with it the continued possibility of coastal storm surges, high winds and rain.
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11a.m. is forecast for Tuesday with brisk winds between 18 and 20 mph. High temps will hover in the mid-70s, before dropping to the mid-60s overnight.
Rain continues on Wednesday with a 30 percent chance of rain as temperatures inch up to the low 80s. Winds are forecast to drop to 9 to 11 mph.
A break from the rain and wind comes on Thursday when the rain chance drops to 20 percent as Hermine begins to move away from the coast. Winds will be 5 to 8 mph.
Residents can expect a return to sunny skies on Friday with a high near 85 and light winds.
