Heavy Rain, Possible Thunderstorms Will Be Moving Into Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The sunny, delightful weather Fairfield County enjoyed this past weekend will be a thing of the past as a new workweek starts.

Rain, heavy at times, is in the forecast for Monday, with its arrival just in time for the morning commute.

There will be periods of rain and heavy rain during the day as well as patchy fog. The high temperature will be between 54 and 56 degrees.

Rain and possibly a thunderstorm is possible for Monday night, with a chance of showers continuing through around noon on Tuesday.

The rest of the day Tuesday should be partly sunny with a high in the mid 60s.
