The flooding may occur along Long Island Sound with high tides about 2 feet above normal at midday Sunday.

Minor to moderate flooding may occur along vulnerable roads or adjacent properties at high tide at about 11:15 a.m.

The chance of precipitation will increase overnight as a warm front moves into the area, with 1 to 2 inches of rain possible.

Heavy rain with thunder is possible with temperatures rising overnight into Sunday into the 40s.

Fog could blanket the area through the night and into Sunday, and even for the afternoon in some areas.

The heavy rain will taper off by Sunday afternoon with temperatures rising into the upper 50s and even low 60s.

A cold front Sunday night will drop temperatures back to a seasonable 30 degrees.

Monday will be sunny, with a high near 36 degrees and wind chills between 20 and 25.
