All of Fairfield County will be under a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday as another storm rolls in.
A total of 3 to 5 inches of snow is now expected to fall across Fairfield County and New Haven County, starting just before dawn on Monday and continuing throughout the afternoon.
Northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph combined with gusts of up to 25 mph will combine with falling snow to cut visibility on the roads to a half-mile.
Drivers should also expect snow-covered roads and hazardous conditions, the Weather Service warned.
Temperatures will drop from about freezing to the mid-20s by dusk. The chance of snow is 70 percent.
The forecast doesn't get any better, with snow slated for every day this week.
More snow could return overnight into Tuesday, with another 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tuesday will see more periods of light snow and a high near 32 degrees. The chance of snow is 80 percent, with about an inch expected.
Periods of light snow will continue Tuesday evening.
More light snow is possible Wednesday as well as Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Are we in for as much snow as last Friday, when up to 9 inches of snow fell in some parts of Fairfield County?
