Showers and thunderstorms will move into the area this evening and linger throughout Friday. The strong potential for heavy rain has triggered a flash flood watch from the National Weather Service through Friday afternoon.
Up to three quarters of an inch of rain is possible over night with a low around 72.
Storms will remain on Friday with significantly cooler temperatures. Expect a high of 77 with up to 2 inches of rain possible.
Localized flooding is possible in low lying areas, areas with poor drainage, and smaller streams.
The majority of the rain is expected to exit the area by Friday night with only a 30 percent chance of showers.
Mostly sunny skies are expected to return on Saturday with a 20 percent chance of afternoon storms.
More rain is possible on Sunday.
