Cold, Wind — And Snow? — In The Forecast For Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — It's been much warmer than normal for mid-November across Fairfield County for much of this past week. But that's all about to change with sun possible on Sunday and again on Thanksgiving.

On Saturday, there will be areas of frost before 7 a.m., but then it will warm up to a high near 60 under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. 

By Saturday night, showers will move in with temperatures dropping to an overnight low of about 39 degrees. Winds will pick up to 10 to 15 mph in the evening with gusts as high as 26 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. 

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature of about 40 degrees. It will be breezy, with winds of 13 to 20 mph, and  gusts as high as 31 mph.

On Sunday night, there is a 20 percent chance of snow with a low around 28. Winds will pick up to 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

It will be mostly cloudy and breezy, with a high near 40 on Monday, with temperatures dropping to a low of about 28 overnight.

It will be sunny Tuesday, but with a high still near 41 during the day and 27 overnight.

The sun will continue Wednesday, with a high near 45. Rain could develop by the evening, with a low around 33.

On Thanksgiving Day, there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation — which could be rain and/or snow. The skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 49 degrees.
