BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Two lanes are closed and traffic is backing up on I-95 due to an overturned car in the Bridgeport area on Friday morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The accident is on northbound I-95 between Exits 26 and 27 in Bridgeport, DOT said. The two right lanes were closed at 8:40 a.m., DOT said.
Traffic is backed up for over 2 miles back to Exit 24 in Fairfield, DOT said.
It was not known when the accident would be cleared from the highway.
