Body Found Floating In Water Off Stamford Marina Stamford Police found a body floating in the water off Cummmings Park Marina after receiving a 911 call from a boater. The body was discovered around 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19, after a boater in the channel off West Beach came upon the body, said Stamford Police Lt. Michael A. Noto. Stamford Fire Department, Stamford Police Department, and Stamford Emergency Medical Services responded and the body was recovered, he said.
