One person was killed and two others seriously injured during a shooting in Fairfield County overnight. The incident took place in Bridgeport, on Saturday, Aug. 13, around 1:50 a.m. in the area of Barnum Avenue & Knowlton Street. Bridgeport police received reports of multiple parties struck by gunfire in the area of Barnum Avenue and Knowlton Street, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police. Suspect On Loose After Person Shot In Bridgeport
Police are on the hunt for the person who shot another, causing non-life-threatening injuries in Bridgeport. The shooting took place around 6:19 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in the area of Terrace Circle, said Bridgeport Police spokesman Terron Jones. Police report the person was shot in the wrist and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital, he said. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
