ID Released For Victim In Fatal Bridgeport Shooting
This story has been updated. A 44-year-old man shot and killed at the PT Barnum Apartments has been identified by Bridgeport Police. The man who suffered the gunshot wound to the head around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of 467 Bird St., was Tavon Cooper, police said. Copper was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Cooper is reportedly the cousin of the 18-year-old Corbin Cooper, who was recently killed in a car crash following a chase with Bridgeport Police, News 12 reported.
